Custom 1/12 scale felted animals on a movable metal wire armature

My love for miniatures, animals and dolls has always been very strong. Drawing, sculpting and animation are also part of my passions. Since I am an eternal kid inside, I like to move and play with my miniatures which lead me to learn needle felting so that I can make movable scupltures on a metal armature. My sculptures can take many positions and are made from a mix of wool and silk. They are 1/12 scale and are made to fit in any dollhouse scene. I simply love to do custom sculptures of people's pets and am always looking forward to a new challenge. I also started to make ball jointed dolls which has been a passion of mine since I can remember. I am open for commissions, please contact me should you have any questions or comments.

My first 1/12 scale bjd

Here is my first ball jointed doll in 1/12 scale. I plan to make many more! :D

Here she is!

The leash comes from Minisquare. The dog shirt is done by me as well as the dogs.

In the previous pictures, my doll is wearing a dress and jewelry done by me. Her shoes are made by Judy Blondell and the watch comes from the little dolhouse company.

In the pictures below my doll is wearing clothes done by Lise Ashby. From the socks to the gorgeous hat. To hear more about her please visit my page: artists I admire

  1. Hi :) I absolutely love your bjd 1:12 doll. She is so gorgeus and realistic. So much personality. Do you take comissions? :)

  2. Hi Linda,
Thank you for your beautiful comment, I am glad you like my doll and am very flattered by your kind words. Yes I do take commissions, as a matter of fact I am working on a commissioned bjd along with a couple of other commissions for felted animals at the present. Designing and sculpting a bjd is a lot of work and takes time as each piece is hand carved, if you want one made especially for you, you can contact me via my contact form and I would be happy to give you more information. Thank you for your interest.
